Wing of silence
Muhammad Albarno
Our time of day is dark,
The eagle’s wing is broken.
Our parrot speaks in silence,
The camel can’t travel far.
Life and death are united,
We move forward but never reach.
We eat what we need,
Yet our needs remain absent.
How can there be nothing?
Our mouths open wide,
Our voices thunder loud,
Yet no one hears.
In the heart of darkness,
Where day and night merge,
Who will slay the bear
That broke our wings?
